The fact will always remain that Trayvon Martin was unarmed and minding his own business when George Zimmerman decided that he looked suspicious, started following him even after being told not to by 911, and shot an unarmed teenager. If Zimmerman WAS in the process of getting his ass kicked, so what? If some stranger started following me, I might kick some ass too. What kind of pussy brings a gun to a fistfight?

I found this man on 7th Avenue in Park Slope. He was leaning heavily on his cane, looking down, wearing a grimaced face. I felt bad for him, so I smiled and waved when I walked past. His face changed completely. He lit up, smiled wide, and gave me a cheery greeting. There was nothing forced about it. He seemed like a man who went through life looking for the smallest excuses to be happy.

I walked 50 feet down the sidewalk, turned around, and walked back to him. “I want to take your photo,” I told him, “because of how big you smiled when I walked by.”

He said: “Well I saw someone smiling at me who I didn’t even know. So I thought: ‘By God! I Better do something!’”

This Is All Kinds Of Wrong of the Day: Salecia Johnson might have thrown the mother of all temper tantrums at a Georgia elementary school last Friday: The 6-year-old allegedly pushed fellow students, threw items off a teacher’s desk, tore material from the walls, tried to bite a doorknob, and tossed a small shelving unit (which struck the school’s principal in the leg). But when a police officer tried to calm Salecia down, she “pulled away and actively began resisting and fighting with me,” reported the cop — so, naturally, he handcuffed her and tossed her in the back of his squad car.

Salecia has since been released to her family — who, naturally, are pissed. The girl’s aunt, Candace Ruff, picked her up at the police station, where Ruff said Salecia was in a holding cell and complained about the steel handcuffs. “She said they were really tight. She said they really hurt her wrists,” Ruff said. “Call the police, is that the first step?”

Police defended the cuff-and-stuff, saying Salecia was “placed in handcuffs for her safety. When a person is put in handcuffs, it’s for their safety, it’s not a punishment.”

This whole incident could have been nipped in the bud if the Principal had been allowed to paddle her little ass.

Über die Hilfsmittel für die Rauchentwöhnung

Wer das Rauchen sein lassen möchte, begibt sich in ein schwieriges Unterfangen. Neben der Sucht, die sehr stark ist, muss auch die Angewohnheit des Rauchens besiegt werden. Der, der plant rauchfrei zu leben hat dabei einige auf dem Markt befindliche Hilfsmittel, die ihm helfen sollen die Sucht zu besiegen. Beispiele dafür sind Nikotinpflaster, Nikotinkaugummis oder mittlerweile auch die Behandlung durch die Akupunktur, die das Rauchverlangen mindern soll. All diese Hilfsmittel und Methoden haben aber eine Gemeinsamkeit: sie helfen zwar die Suchterscheinungen zu verringern, bieten aber keine Alternative für die Angewohnheit des Rauchens.

Gewohnheitstier Mensch

Der Mensch gewöhnt sich schnell an Dinge, die im gefallen. So auch an Zigaretten. Wenn man von der Gewohnheit spricht, spricht man von der bloßen Tatsache, dass Raucher immer eine Zigarette in der Hand oder zwischen den Lippen haben. Im weiteren Sinne zählen auch das morgendliche Kaffeetrinken oder der Besuch einer Kneipe zu den Gewohnheiten, bei denen der Raucher zu einer Zigarette greift. Abhilfe kann da eigentlich nur ein Mittel schaffen, mit dem man seine Gewohnheiten weiterführen und trotzdem auf die giftigen Zigaretten verzichten kann. Diese Meisterleistung ist mit der elektrischen Zigarette geglückt.

Was die elektrische Zigarette eigentlich ist

Die elektrische Zigarette hat ihren Ursprung in Japan. Die dort lebenden Menschen dürfen wegen der strikten Rauchverbote an keinen öffentlichen Plätzen rauchen. Um diese Verbote konnten erstmals mit der elektrischen Zigarette umgangen werden. Dabei war diese anfangs der normalen Zigarette nachempfunden und nahm im Laufe der Zeit immer andere Formen an. An der Technik hat sich aber nichts geändert und das Funktionsprinzip ist das Selbe geblieben. Nach wie vor erhitzt ein Akku den Vaporizer, der anschließend eine Flüssigkeit, die e-Liquid, die sich übrigens nachfüllen lässt, erhitzt und sie in Dampf wandelt, der von den Konsumenten inhaliert wird.

Die e-Liquid und wie sie bei der Rauchentwöhnung hilft

Als e-Liquid wird die auf pflanzlicher Basis produzierte Flüssigkeit genannt, die bei der elektrischen Zigarette zum Einsatz kommt. Die Flüssigkeit enthält des Weiteren einen Geschmacksstoff, der beliebig gewählt werden kann und – vorausgesetzt man will es – Nikotin. Das Nikotin in der Flüssigkeit kann dem Konsumenten bei der Rauchentwöhnung helfen, da es verschiedene Nikotingehälter gibt. Verringert man den Nikotingehalt etappenweise, hat der Körper Zeit sich an den Entzug zu gewöhnung und verfällt in keinen Schock. Dabei wird der Nikotingehalt in der e-Liquid in der Form verringert, dass am Ende eine nikotinfreie Liquid gewählt werden kann.

Auch als Alternative zur Zigarette empfehlenswert

Empfehlenswert ist die elektrische Zigarette auch als Alternative zur üblichen Zigarette, sprich: wenn der Raucher gar nicht aufhören möchte. So kann stetig eine nikotinhaltige Liquid gewählt werden, doch genießt man einige andere gesundheitliche und finanzielle Vorteile. Die Flüssigkeit ist nämlich keinesfalls kanzerogen und verringert das Risiko einer Krebserkrankung durch das Rauchen auf ein absolutes Minimum. Andere Beschwerden werden mit der Zeit auch schwinden, wie etwa der Raucherhusten. Geld gespart wird auf jeden Fall. Umgerechnet beträgt der Preis – abhängig vom Hersteller – für eine Schachtel Zigaretten in Liquids zirka 1,50 EUR.

If you don’t remember Sophie M Herold, she is a German girl, who is extremely homophobic and transphobic. She has found out LGBTQ persons names, addresses, personal info etc. And set up her own database.

Her intentions with this are harmful.

She is sending out this information, your information, your best friends information, someone you love and care about. She’s sending it to hate groups, malicious people, people with bad intentions.

And if you think I’m blowing this out of proportion, people have been kicked out of homes, disowned by families and even MURDERED. Yes, murdered. Innocent people who have done nothing but love.

She has had numerous blogs and each have been removed. Tumblr staff are aware of her, and as far as I’m aware she currently doesn’t have a blog, but this does not mean she isn’t still on peoples tumblrs, asking via anon where you live, what your name is.

An email I received today. She’s sending out information of same sex couples with children so the children can be kidnapped. She entitled it “Time to strike back”. If that doesn’t suggest harmful intentions I don’t know what does.

Please be extremely careful what you post on tumblr, on twitter, facebook, anywhere. Do NOT give out your full name or your address, or even the town in which you live. Look out for one another, and don’t answer any suspicious anons. Especially if they use your name in quotation marks.

Sophie M Herold is still out there, she always will be, so please spead this message and warn people. She’s attacking in silence. We don’t need more people dying because of her actions.
